Folks,
I want to encourage everyone to tune into 88.1 FM or the webcast at www.wbgufm.com this Saturday from 12:00-1:30pm, for the "On The Line" SuperBowl Preview show. Sometime after 12, we will be joined live by Josh Harris for a portion of the program. Feel free to call in your thoughts about the game, or about Josh Harris at 419-372-2826. Hope everyone can find time to tune in.....Josh is excited about being on radio in the area again.....so much so that he actually had his agent contact our sports director at WBGU. Thanks!

Sorry about that, in the past week I've heard from people around campus that it works fine, maybe last night was just a glitch (hopefully.) I will try to find out if there are any problems with it....I wish it was my department but it's not. Thanks everyone who listens or at least tries too....I/WE appreciate it.

It might help, Freak, if you could mention what software pops up to stream the audio.
When I choose the .mp3 stream, a program I rarely use pops up called MusicMatch. I find it odd that Windows Media Player doesn't jump up and start taking the stream. I'm not sure if that's because of my defaults or if it is something on WBGU's end.
If the latter: Since Windows Media Players is very common, that might be why people struggle to get the WBGU stream.

It might just be the version of WMP that I have at work, but I can never get the stream to play there, but it plays at home just fine. I always get some "cannot play this type of file" sort of error.Schadenfreude wrote:When I choose the .mp3 stream, a program I rarely use pops up called MusicMatch.
