Awesome start! So freaking upset I cannot make it to the home opener, can't wait to see this team play!

Interesting that they're going to redshirt worrel, I thought it looked as though he could contribute.

Really excited to have post game pressers on the radio again...I've missed that tremendously.

After watching the highlight vids, Worrell was the new face I was most excited about. Not sure if it's a fair comparison or not, but I remember thinking he looked like he could be another Holmes. Very athletic, quick off his feet, etc. I was surprised he was still available that late in recruiting. I was looking forward to seeing the two of them on the court together at times. I believe Jans was asked about him recently and he made some comment that he had some things he needed to improve on but was coming along. I wonder if he's just not up to speed with the system yet.

Redshirting Worrel might also imply they have some confidence in Holmes' backups. Mayleben logged a lot of minutes but its tough to tell if that meant a lot given BG built an early lead. Gomez can give them some minutes but the primary backup appears to be Mayleben.

That was the case during the exhibition game.

Lost in all the excitement about the win, you mean to tell me there wasn't a single complaints about the uniforms we wore? Not a single one?? Come on people, you're slipping! I thought we looked great in them and the result looked even better.

33,

Good point.... I saw the unis and, while I liked the stye, the COLOR SCHEME is wrong (as we all know). I'm hoping we'll see big difference when Nike gets involved. In meantime, I guess we'll struggle along with BLACK as a so called " primary" color. ](*,)

I think we need a new style of uniform badly, however given the switch I get it. Right now we have a solid mix of Nike and Adidas shoes and socks, plus some home uniforms that look older than most high school teams.

I like the black as an option from time to time. I just don't like the lack of brown. Count me in as hopeful that will change with Nike.

I'm not really a big fan of black uniforms in general, but I gotta say I like the ones we wore. I think the orange really pops on black. My old high school colors were black and orange and we had some very cool uniform looks - not to mention a bad-ass name - the Black Panthers! Other teams in the district used to comment all the time how much they liked our uniforms and color schemes. Schemes with black such as black and red, or black and yellow, or black and green don't do much for me at all. But I do like black with orange. I think those uniforms we wore look sharp and thought so last year the few times we wore them too.
