BG and the Gaels
Good win tonight by the Falcons. A 80-59 final score over Iona. Donovan led the way in scoring with 24 points. Impressed by the freshman that played tonight. Lots of road games coming up for the team!

Coach Roos said there would be good nights and bad, especially early, at the season ticket holder event. With a little support from the fans I think the freshman will come along nicely but there will be some bumps. This stretch of road game will mature them but it certainly is nice to see them get a win before they hit the road.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Good to see Donovan respond with a big night after she struggled so badly in the opener. She's the one player we have that can put the team on her shoulders and carry them if need be ....well...possibly Hoekstra if she's on a hot streak hitting threes.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
