Kanapke single handedly running the offense in the ground. Where is the QB change. Why for the love of all things holy is Kanapke left in the game?

I don't get why you bring in Callaway last week and not this week. I don't know if he is better but he obviously brings some things that Knapke clearly does not.

It's Week 12 and none of the shortcomings have been addressed that popped up in October. The coaches should be roasted for this performance but I'm sure they'll blame it on the cold or the snow or Toledo hangover.

Too much turkey in the belly of the players. That's the excuse.

...........but on the positive side, this game saved me a whole bunch of money, because I certainly won't be going to Detroit or a bowl game to watch that caliber of football!

So embarrassed right now. This program is in shambles. I almost didn't renew tix this year, definitely won't next year.

Got to hear Babers speak at a FCA event last week - the guy just doesn't impress or excite me.

I plan to go Friday, and like others have said, I fully expect NIU to win in a blowout. Like we did last year. Boy, do I hope I'm wrong.

Nice hire, Kingston.

Knapke.....why?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I believe recruiting is #2 in the MAC. If you don't know facts don't state them. Go back up north Dr.

The offense has been destroyed and its caused this team to lose all their confidence. Take away the kick return and this team loses 41-14 at home to a bad Ball State team. This has been building for weeks without any adjustments or changes and it finally boiled over today. Team didn't beat anyone above .500 at all this season and they certainly won't in Detroit next week.

What ever happened to Akron? Thought they were supposed to be a contender this year. They just lost to Kent. The East has been beating each other up all season.

I wish I could say I disagree with the Dr. But I have pretty much been in agreement with him all along. I don't share his approach to saying it but I thought this was a poorly coached team in week 1 and it certainly still is now. Early in the season it looked like Oberlin College could score on us, now it looks like we couldn't score on them either. Wildly inconsistent on both sides of the ball, dumb penalties, elementary play calling all year etc... Art Briles would vomit if he watched this team play.

Dr.Falcon wrote: THis was the worse hire. Kingston needs to be held accountable and fired. Babers reminds me of John Blake back in his days at Oklahoma. BG won't win more than three games next year. Recruiting is already suffering.
You are working hard to hurt recruiting with all your posts like this one. But many of us can see that for what it is, and I expect smart recruits can, too.

The only thing you have done on this board since you got an account was run down Bowling Green and praise Toledo. Please: Go back to the Toledo board and your boyfriend Matt Campbell . We have a championship to play for; I'm sure Toledo coaches could use your moral support right now.

To everyone else: I'm not happy with the way this team played today either, but it's pretty clear we have a ton of talent and a guy behind center who is a bit lost.

Ask yourself: Would you rather be 8-4 with a win over Ball State and Toledo and an also ran in the East? Or would you rather be playing for a championship Friday?

This isn't pretty, but I'll take it. Rocket fans can watch us from home Friday.
