THis was the worse hire. Kingston needs to be held accountable and fired. Babers reminds me of John Blake back in his days at Oklahoma. BG won't win more than three games next year. Recruiting is already suffering.
You are working hard to hurt recruiting with all your posts like this one. But many of us can see that for what it is, and I expect smart recruits can, too.
The only thing you have done on this board since you got an account was run down Bowling Green and praise Toledo. Please: Go back to the Toledo board and your boyfriend Matt Campbell . We have a championship to play for; I'm sure Toledo coaches could use your moral support right now.
To everyone else: I'm not happy with the way this team played today either, but it's pretty clear we have a ton of talent and a guy behind center who is a bit lost.
Ask yourself: Would you rather be 8-4 with a win over Ball State and Toledo and an also ran in the East? Or would you rather be playing for a championship Friday?
This isn't pretty, but I'll take it. Rocket fans can watch us from home Friday.
Isn't pretty?? It's a joke!! We had so much promise with this team at the beginning of the season and now we are dead men walking to a death sentence in Detroit. With Knapke at QB, this coaching staff and zero confidence this will be the GMAC bowl of 2008 all over again!!
I don't know how anyone can be positive about this!

I was there the day Buffalo beat us in 2000, getting their first ever win in FBS and making it clear the Faclons were about to have a sixth-straight losing season.
I've been following this program a long time. Twenty years from now, about the only thing people will remember is that we won the East. They won't remember this debacle today.
It was ugly. But we won the East and no one can take that away from us.

Who cares about winning the East. It's NOT a MAC championship. It counts for almost nothing. Except this year to have the opportunity to be annihilated by a sub par NIU team on national TV. Losing to Toledo for the fifth straight year is far more important. This team is far worse than any Blackney, Brandon or Stolz team. It's on par with some of Mow Ankney's worse teams.
Babers = John Blake < Moe Ankney
If you're such a BG fan (which I doubt) then you're doing more harm than good to the program with these types of posts. Plenty of us are upset with what has happened this year, but this kind of stuff is damaging not only to future players but current players as well. We've all posted some things when we're frustrated but I've yet to see one positive post from you about anything regarding the football program. If you're that displeased with the state of affairs, write to Mr. Kingston or better yet Mr. Babers himself and let them know how you feel.
Dr. Falcon I can appreciate a troll as much as anyone else but according to this we have 13 commits... Yes Toledo has 23 but are losing their entire OL and DL they need players ... We have a very young talented team on offense. So recruiting defense as this suggests make sense ...and Buff has 5 commits not ahead of us at all
Also MAC classes are always evaluated on number , which have very little do do with success ... Because most players are 2 stars and it ends up being how they fit in the system that matters

Very true. But I am going by Rivals, my own contacts and using their offer list as a comparison. For example, Miami just got a verbal QB that almost every MAC school wanted including us. Toledo, CMU and WMU all have a lot of players that we offered. We have very few if any that they offered. Coach Clawson told me that he rarely lost recruits to anybody in the MAC other than CMU. He would beat Toledo and WMU 9 out of ten times. These teams are crushing us now under Babers.
I'm not going to debate who has the top recruiting class at this point, but if Coach Clawson told you that, then he was a much worse coach than any of us suspected. If he truly was out recruiting everyone in the MAC, why in the HELL did he lose 4 in a row to the team's biggest rival?
What you're saying doesn't jive with the reality of what we saw on the field most of the time during Clawson's tenure at BG. And it hurts your credibility as a poster.
People ... he's a troll. Like birdman. He has nothing true or real to say. He's only still around because people give him attention. We have an ignore feature for a reason ...
MarkL has spoken.
You may all now return to your daily lives.
Clawson would have beat UT this year?...Clawson recruited Knapke. It's Clawson's fault we lost because his QB stunk the place out.
I love the job Dave Clawson did here...I'm a bit concerned with the way the team has shown up the past two weeks, I think the misfires at QB have killed this team all year and that poor opposition and some great play by the other skill position guys like Lewis and Greene hid those QB issues...even in the IU game...a game we should have put up 60 in. But I don't have an agenda against the AD or HC because my buddy didn't get the gig, So I'm going to see how the next year or two play out before I call for anyone to get fired.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Hey moron, Rivals has him as a low three star and we beat out Eastern Michigan, ND State, Southern Illinois and Ball State. That is a really impressive offer list. We wanted the QB that Miami got.
BTW the WR transfer was kicked out of school for criminal activity and has a record. Clawson never would have accepted him. Think before you post something without knowing all the facts.
If you're so hung up on Clawson, go root for Wake Forest. Don't think for a second that he would have had better success this year with the injuries and losses to graduation.
Dr Falcon...Clawson recruited guys with records...we almost signed a guy who punched another kid in the face and stole his iphone....but he went somewhere else at the last minute. He had offers out on other guys with criminal pasts...one or two of them came here, but I'm not going to call them out by name because that would be kind of a bitch move. And so far as Rhodes goes...criminal charges against him in Texas WERE DISMISSED, so you might want to post all the facts if you want to drag some kid's name through the mud.
SO far as Morgan goes..he's a top flight QB recruit..every service agrees on that. And Babers also lured a **** QB xfer from Texas Tech. I don't think recruiting is going to be an issue..game mgmnt...well, that could be another story.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Just a hypothetical here, similar to you saying that if Clawson was here we beat UT this year.... If we somehow win next week in the championship game what will your reaction be? It was a tainted title? We only won by X? NIU had food poisoning?
