He kept jawing at the ref over something during a TO. Don't remember what it was now. It looked like he kinda wanted it. Only cost us 1pt and seemed to fire the guys up.

Just as it was at halftime. A 2 pt. game with 8 min remaining. Holmes is rested and should be able to go the rest of the game. I like our chances even as poorly as we have played.

I think this game is really showing the deficiencies of Orr's recruiting. Don't have enough shooters to draw them out and don't have enough size to match up with wkus front.

1st loss by Jans as a coach/assistant in a regular season game in nearly two years.

Time to regroup and get back on the winning ways. I was hoping for a 1-1 road trip. I see road blocks at Dayton and South Florida but an 8-3 non conference record is possible.

This was a poor matchup now that I see wku play. Way too much size inside for Holmes and we don't have enough offense when we cannot score in the paint. Parker hit some threes to keep it close, but couldn't get over the top. Still a great start...gotta learn from it and get better.

All kinds of blown chances down the stretch to win that one. Holmes with foul trouble and being worked over by a tall twig hurt us big time too.
