PREDICTION: MAC Championship. BG Vs. NIU

I'm just hoping it will be a entertaining game. Maybe I'm overly critical, but this the least entertaing season the MAC has had across the board. Other than Western Michigan there really weren't any teams that showed much improvement and the league regressed again. Obviously it all depends on match ups, but bowl season has the potential of extremely embarrassing performances by the MAC.

BG ended up selling 4,900 tickets which is 300 more than last year, so that's good. No idea how many NIU have sold.

Unfortunately with NIU team add in revenge factor and I think we lose by more than 10. But I won't be surprised by a BG victory either.

So I watched the game on youtube earlier (really good quality btw) and noticed how we were able to manage to get points on NIU early and often. Matty Js mobility in the pocket changed EVERYTHING. If you look at all the "big" plays, they were made by him extending the play an extra sec or two and breaking down the secondary's assignment. I cannot strees how much that changed the game.

This year...not so much. It will be interesting to see how they can produce some offense through the air without chucking it to Rog every play. Knapke HAS to be on point today or it could get ugly. None the less, cant wait to show out tonight. Tremendous opportunity to win 2 in 2 years.

NIU will not be messing around....unless we luck into some turnovers this game will be a blowout. I'd start Calloway as well....Knapke gives us no chance at this point, so we should just make the change.

Make no mistake about it, we played as good a game as we could have last year in the MACC, it will take that same type effort to even be in the game in the fourth quarter. It's time for Falcon Fast to come up with a gameplan and actually move the ball. We're talking about MAC defenses....lets actually coach the team and execute the plays. See if that works instead of rushing from one horse $&!@ play to another.
