BG v Alabama AnM
BG plays Alabama AnM this Saturday. As long as the University of Alabama continues to allow them to have a program.
AANM is 1-4 with a win coming vs Oakwood. They have losses to Dayton, Ga Tech, Jacksonville State and SE Missouri State. They lost to SEMSU a team we beat by 10 85-51.
They seem to shoot terrible. 37% from the field and 24% from 3. 57% from FT. Only 26 steals on the year. 88 turnovers to 55 assists. Avg 58ppg. We should dominate. They do have size with a 6-10 PF and a 7-0 Center in the lineup. So that's scary, we are really undersized. At times last game I believe Delvin Dickerson was playing center. He is 6-5. The 7-0 Center only plays 10 minutes a game and rebounds at 1.6 a clip so it might not be a big deal. If you go starters by minutes played you take out Cotton and put in Houston. I am hoping we can get some more scoring. Not sure who it will come from but this team is really missing a go to scorer in the McCleod, Miller, Stacey mold. Holmes is an all around stud but not that guy. He is better as the second scorer on a team and the best pretty much everything else outside of assists.

4. West (35) 6-10 205 JR Forward (5 games, 5 starts) 12.4ppg, 6.6rpg 1.2bpg*

Re: BG v Alabama AnM
Dumb question...we have season tix but my son wants to bring a friend today. I called the ticket office but closed and Ticketmaster is not showing the game to purchase tix and print.
Can you buy walk-up tix at the Stroh before the game? We live 45 mins away and hate to bring the kid and not be able to get him in.
Thanks...

Certainly it won't be a sellout. You will be able to buy tickets and if you watch closely you might find someone with an extra in the parking lot.AZZZZ wrote:Dumb question...we have season tix but my son wants to bring a friend today. I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Yeah I'm sure it won't sell out. My main concern was if the ticket window would be open to purchase. Thanks.

Coach Orr is in the house. Shook his hand and said hello...too bad things weren't great with him as coach but still a great guy.

This team is so balanced it's interesting. Not sure if they are still falling into certain roles or if the balance is just how it will be going forward. Certainly will need more scoring at times.

Good win against a bad team. Nice to see us take care of business as we should have.

5-1 is a great start....I watched the WKU game and this team is so much more energetic than previous years. Give it some time and I think Coach Jans is gonna build a power.

C'mon Globe, he played FOURmin. Total.... At least he didn't hurt us, but missed the only shot he took.
We wound up in BG after an overnite stay in Perrysburg, found out Falcons were playing at 4 so we stayed.
Quite a change from last few yrs! Iknow competition wasn't top level, but actally looked like a team.....and with some real depth, though lacking another big would help...TEN guys scored!
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

He facilitated the offense from the high post as well as anyone else I saw and mixed it up going for rebounds. I was pleasantly surprised by him.Class of 61 wrote:Globetrotter wrote:32-18 looking good. Some nice minutes from Gomez.
