ACC notebook: Cameron Crazies rattled Tar Heels

Midway through the first half Wednesday night at Duke, North Carolina freshman Marvin Williams went to the free-throw line with a chance to add to a 17-16 Tar Heels lead.
Even with all the advice he'd heard from his veteran teammates about dealing with the Cameron Crazies, nothing could have prepared Williams for what he was about to see.
As he set up for his two shots, a hairy-chested Duke student about 10 rows behind the basket sprung from his seat wearing nothing but a shiny blue Speedo. The fan spent the next 20 seconds thrusting and gyrating in the stands.
Williams, an 87 percent foul shooter, clanged both attempts and his No. 2 Tar Heels eventually lost 71-70.
Ah, the little things.

I will restrain from ever doing that one. Sorry, but the only way that would work out was to be standing in the band almost naked. That's when you cross the line from being a band geek to being stupid

check out the article in the Cols Dispaptch today (Fri) page F3 about the group of IL students (the "Orange Krush') who go to opposing big 10 BB areans dressed in black Tee shirts, then rip them off exposing their IL orange and go nuts.
They went to the UofM game, posed as a "Chicago Youth Group", had their picture taken with Tommy Amaker and even led the Mich fans in cheers before they took of their fake T's and turned into Rabid IL Fans.
osu fears they will be going to Cols and do the same there.
