Am I the only one who's curious about our seemingly lack of recruiting compared to other MAC schools.? Now WMU trying to " flip" a kid who's been a BG commit since August ?

Better get it together, as BG 's recruiting seems dull, behind nearly all W. Div. schools and Miami too. What the heck is going on?

Nothing's going on. Not all recruiting is made public...and the schools can't comment on anything. What you're seeing is coming from high school kids and recruiting services trying to sell subscriptions.

Tom,
I don't disagree w/ you on this, but only to the point that schools can't announce a thing until after LOI's are in come FEB.. Butwe don'tseem to be hearing much at all this yr. compared to previous yrs. I know Babers retained arguably Clawson's best recruiter in Nick Monroe, ( especially in FLA), yet even that " pipeline" seems pretty quiet. And after several NE OHIO commits, months ago, only hearing about UT and OU getting verbals from a strong Ohio FB area. :-k

Florida is not quiet! Nick has been to Florida several times, including not too long ago.

How may schollies are we handing out this year? How many are committed to walk ons? Worrying about the number of commits we have in December without considering those points seems a bit alarmist...

I thought Western only beats Big 13 schools for recruits. According to them and the media they are the greatest, most dominant recruiting power in the history of the world (better than that famous pack of velociraptors during the Cretaceous period known to acquire all the resident badasses around the Pangaea). They're trying to flip recruits from lil' old BG?

They don't like to do that for players recruited by BG?

The UAB kids can transfer anywhere and play right away...I hope we're sending a coach or two to Birmingham to kick the tires on a DE or LB or two...

Was wondering when we were going to do this. EMU +WMU both just did this , I think, last weekend. Hopefully we'll see some definite and positive results from this. EMU picked up 5 commits out of 22 kids on campus....been awhile since we added anyone to our verbal list....

And the ultimate question....are the aussies real or imagined? :) \:D/
