There's no way this game should be this close, USA is awful.

We seem to think we can overpower them because we have the bigger line. The announcers feel this way too. Don't see enough evidence to believe this theory.60yearsofsicsic wrote:So spreading them out works so on the goaline we run up the gut?

I like Callaway too, but it's a bad idea to put him in after a SOUTH ALA td...figures they'd be a little stoked after a score. But honestly Knapke looked to be back to Indiana game form...why mess with success?Rollo83 wrote:Babers probably practiced all week telling the team and Callaway that he was going to get the fourth series. He just stuck to his plan. Suddenly, all the Callaway fans bail when the kid has a tough series. Typical...

This is the best we have looked in a long time. It helps that this is the weakest team we've played since Kent. I'd say the only weaker teams than USA we've played have been VMI and Kent.

Re: Camellia Bowl Thread
Best half we've played since the first half against Kent State. If we play that way in the second half, we'll win our first bowl in a decade. Would LOVE to see us score a TD to open the half and put our foot on their thoat. Let's go BG, close it out!
GO BG!!!
