Where did Brandon go? All I turned up on a quick internet search just now was still showing him as O.C. at New Mexico State.

That thar is the correct name of the school.

Colorado School of Mines is located in Golden, CO.

I can think of worse places to find work.

Unrelated but John Haneline is now the linebacker coach at Miss State under Dan Mullen.

They do!

But they have a very hard time thinking outside the box.

Brandon is from Colorado and now in the twilight of his career (He will be 59 in Feb). This is actually a pretty good gig for him.

I found this amazing..."Brandon is only the sixth head coach to walk the sidelines since 1937". This from the the CO. School of Mines website.....

This is Brandon's 5th job since he was fired from BG. Not sure if that was planned or not, but all that moving eventually has to wear you out.

The life of a coach.

I think he did get to spend three years at one stop since he left town.

I have a feeling this will be Brandon's last stop assuming he wins a few games. Looks like they are about to do a $20 million renovation to the football stadium which I assume will make it one of the nicer ones in D-II so they have clearly invested a lot into their program. Seems like a great place to coach out the remainder of your career.

Yeah...when you're an assistant coach, if the guy who hired you gets fired....GB seemed to walk into a couple of those situations after leaving here. I hope he does well at the Mine school.

Meyer wins it all at Florida with a FB playing QB and wins at OSU with his 3rd string QB. Carry whatever grudge you want over the way he left, but the man may wind up being the GOAT. Hell...he might supplant Woody as the patron saint of OSU football.
