Maisel's opinion on the move to East

Post by bgsuman »

2. After three years in the MAC West, Bowling Green is returning East, which is great news for the Falcons' rivalries against Miami, Kent State and Ohio. They're annual again. Northeast Ohio is so important to BGSU that it moved its 2006 home game against Wisconsin to the Browns' stadium.

Ivan Maisel is a CFB writer for ESPN, and used to (does he still?) write for SI.

Aren't we playing at Cleveland Browns stadium so we could get Wisconsin to play us at "home?"

We were going to play Michigan, but dropped them from the schedule in order to play Wisconsin twice: In '05 at Wisconsin, and in '06 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

I believe there was some sarcasm there in CapitalFalcon's post Lozer. The Michigan thing has to be the biggest joke of the year around these forums!

Metzger,
My last post was more directed at the guy that asked about playing Wisconsin in Cleveland. I was just explaining that situation, and just happened to mention that we dropped Michigan from the schedule to accomodate that.

If I didn't know better, I would say he was being sarcastic too. ::Grin::
