The women went to EMU and got beat by fatigue and turnovers, and nobody posts?
It's out to K-Zoo tomorrow where we have and some trouble in the past. Good luck to the team.
Our new player had a rough initiation at Eastern, from the play-by-play. I was all set to watch the game for free on MAC tv, but the men's game was so late it didn't play. I only got to hear the first half and game tracked the rest. Jaz only played 4 minutes in the first half and I don't know if she hobbled off the court or not.
Surely someone who was at the game will post????

WMU tomorrow night. 12th road game in the last 15 games. I hope we never see a schedule like that again to start the year. Just gotta keep fighting cuz the effort is there. I hope teams realize this is their shot to kick us when we're down cuz we'll be back stronger for it.

I was there. We shot the ball better but yes we had way too many turnovers. EMU's zone had very quick hands so we couldn't make a lot of the passes our offense requires. The effort is there. The team never quit. Rebounding is a problem when a team has quick jumpers. I don't like to make excuses, but the officials are not calling physical play under the basket. We are small and not always very physical but the opposition is being allowed to push and shove without any consequences. As long as the effort is there, I won't have any problem with the outcome. I do agree that teams had better take their best shot this year because next season will be a different story.
