Shegos is the bain of my existance.
I was at the game last night and I had a clear view of the shot that he called back.
It was good. It was very good.
Thanks for nothing Shegos.

Yeah, what a d-bag. I can't stand him, and I only wish I could meet him in some dark alley after last night...
Shegos has been bad before, but he took it to a whole 'nuther level last night.
For those of you going tonight, give him hell.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I had no clue what was going on with that play, I think he was too excited waving off the first shot that he had no clue what happened with the second. Even if he was wrong with the kicking in, at least he blew it like that rather than a quick whistle which I thought he was doing at first.
I was up in the rafters, so I couldn't tell if he was right or not, but I'll gladly take all your guys' word for it!

where were you guys sitting? there were a few BG folks up where I was, including the guy and his son (though the kid had an OSU sweatshirt on) in front of me. I was sitting about the blue line on that end, and by the time I glanced down to see She-Goats waving it off and looked back up again, it was in the net.

We were sitting up in the rafters, just past where the crease and the net line up, so we had a great view of the goal. Not only did it get in via stick(hit a skate after the shot, but thats legal), it actually got in, crossed the line. Don't know if you could hear us, but we were the ones doing ALL the shout-outs for penalties and such.

on the press box side or the other? I was right across from the BG bench a row in front of the press box (sec 321, I think). I saw a small group of BG fans come up that way, but I didn't hear any shout-outs...SaxyIrishTenor wrote:We were sitting up in the rafters, just past where the crease and the net line up, so we had a great view of the goal. Did he say it was kicked in initially, I wonder? I thought the goalie made a huge save on the first attempt, then it went in off a scramble in front, which is where I thought the kicking came in.

Not the pressbox side; we were probably right across from each other. There were 4 of us in orange and white, plus two parents, one in white, the other in red.TG1996 wrote:on the press box side or the other? The goalie made the save and there was a cluster. One of our guys (not sure who) shot it and it bounced off of a blade, which by NCAA/CCHA rules, is a good goal. As long as there is no intentional motion meant to get the goal in the net, its allowable. Not sure of the actual wording of the rule, but if I remember I'll look it up while I am at work tomorrow.

Which by ANY rules is a good goal... GRRRR... I think he was still too busy waving off the shot that got saved to see anything else. That's shitty.SaxyIrishTenor wrote: Not the pressbox side; we were probably right across from each other. Yeah, you were right across from me, then... too bad for you, we had a GREAT angle on the chubby little dancing kid. He was hilarious!
Of course, I also would have had a great look at the sweet goal Unger scored, but the group of OSU students two rows down decided they'd leave with 10 minutes left in the third, with play going on, and figured they'd stand up before making drinking plans with the people they had sat with for 2 hours... bastages!!!

The second we saw the chubby kid on the screen we left our seats to go find where he was sitting; we were above him and a little to the left, from your view, so I got some great pictures.TG1996 wrote:Which by ANY rules is a good goal...
