KSU game thread

Post by Jacobs4Heisman »

BG up 19-8 at the under 8 media timeout. Vandermeer really covers up for a lot of the deficient guard defense on this team. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of last year's game at the MAC center when we were up 15-2 and got smoked from there on out.

At the half, Falcons lead 35-27. Playing hard out there.

we're up 8 at the half -- they made a quick 7-0 run but we answered with good free throw shooting and defense to keep the lead. On pace to keep Kent under 70 points. They're 6-6 when scoring under 70 this year....10-1 when scoring more. Another note, they're 16-0 when scoring more points than the other team.

I forgot they moved this game up. What a nice surprise to see an 8 point lead at the half after a long drive back from Columbus!

uh-oh -- here comes their run. If they keep the half court trap on, we are in trouble. KSU down 4 and on the line for 2

How much time's left? At this rate, it doesn't seem like it will be close for long... :(

What are some of the numbers/foul situations?

MAC refs are a joke- thanks for the no travel call, and counting that shot from Steve Wright. . ..

Whats up with the Kent fans?? Not loud, mostly grey hairs. . . weird.

it's gonna be a good one down the stretch. Stephen wright looks like a whole new player with his newfound offensive confidence. we were all wondering when he'd come out of his shell

Congrats to Josh! That's some pretty elite company at BG. Not sure how many have done it, maybe that will be the next bgsusports.com project...
