I had everyone at work vote twice last week, that was over 400 votes. I cant get around and talk to everyone again until Monday but I will push the word.

Too bad Grant couldnt find a way for students 'forcing' them to vote before they sign onto a campus computer. If we could just get every student on campus to vote just once, then that would really help.

Jonathon was in 11th place last night, 1100 points behind 10th place. Now he is only 600 points out of 10th.

Looks like people may be confusing Jonathon and Jordan.

Can Jonathon pull out and transfer all of his votes to Jordan????

What I posted in this thread http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/phpBB2/v ... 7864#37864 is what I believe has a lot to do with why Jordan's lead is slipping.

I think the game with Michigan this past Friday has a lot to do with Tuomas Tarkii suddenly gaining on Jordan. Tarkki made 13 of his 27 saves in the third period in Northern Michigan's 4-1 victory over No. 4 Michigan on Friday night. My guess is since this game was on TV , he gained a lot of public recogniton with this upset. Hence, he probably has a lot of general fans who watched the game, now voting for him and even some UM converts who saw Tarkii play. The lack of TV games this season for BG really hurts Jordan. The general public just doesn't get the chance to see him live in action to appreciate just how good of a goalie Jordan trully is. He's an outstanding goalie first, with a great story. I believe we only have one TV game, against MSU on FSN-Ohio/Detroit. Not what I would call great media coverage. Anyways, don't get discouraged and keep voting for Jordan.

His lead has shrunk by 30 votes in the past 10 minutes... :(

Your so right. What is on FOXSN this weekend. Is their any hockey games on tv. The BG-TOSU games would be a great game to showcase.

Could this be because someone suggested voting for Jonathan for first place to boost his numbers and get him into the top ten? Hope we didn't mess up Jordan's voting by our constant speculations....

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Pretty sure the CCHA game of the week is Lake Superior and Miami.

Lets just not hope Northern Michigan is on anymore this year on TV. The BG game against MSU would really help Siggy chances in getting him more votes. Oh and I was able to get 6 people at work to just vote.

Has anyone checked the NMU message board (assuming there is one)?? Chances are they have a big promotion going for their guy like we do for Siggy. We just have to keep voting and hopefully keep ahead of them.

Yup, it looks like NMU has a voting blitz going too. Check out the thread on USCHO--Western Michigan at Northern Michigan

Bringing this back to the top. Anyone interested go to USCHO and read the thread about Voting for Hobey. Some slams agains both Siggys!! Anyway, one of the NMU fans wrote in talking about their voting drive for their players. Here is what he said. Maybe BG needs to do that too!!!

"Well, that seventh place goalie leading the fan votes is doing quite well for for a Senior performing in what equates to a freshman or sophomore season It goes a bit more than ballot stuffing, there has been flyers handed out to every person attending a game twice now, had four large banners in the arena, and one on our zamboni. I bet if you could see the IP addresses they would not be concentrated just on campus."

We can't stop voting!!!! Jordan is in 2nd place, about 9500 votes behing NMU's goalie, and about 8,000 ahead of third place from Northeastern, who also has the fourth place in the voting as of today.

VOTE! VOTE!!! VOTE!!! It has slowed down and we need to pick it up.

Looks to me like Northeastern has a voting campaign going now. Their two guys are in 3rd and 4th and closing fast. Let's get those votes going again for Jordan.
