FSU Friday
FSU Friday
With some very selective officiating, the first period ends with Beuller up 1-0.

Can BG score the 1st goal in a game.............. where in the heck is their sense of urgency.

Guys playing hard, so is ferris. Should be great third if the officials stay out of it. Burke looks sharp. Goal was a defensive breakdown 3 on 1 vs Burke.

Gotta skate twice as hard when you're trying to drag their player with you everywhere.jbakerifm wrote:Guys playing hard, so is ferris. Should be great third if the officials stay out of it. Burke looks sharp. Goal was a defensive breakdown 3 on 1 vs Burke.

W baby. A Friday night win, now lets have a weekend and get a W Saturday night.
Re: FSU Friday
Good night for the falcons. Burke had a solid outing. Minus the weak misconduct Friedman had a hell of a night defensively. He was absolutely mugging Ferris at times. Everybody else played great defense in the 2nd and third also.
Anybody else watch Motte crying to the officials after handshakes? What a whiner. You don't need any more help from the refs, BG just took 8 penalties. Maybe see if you can motivate your guys to produce some offense rather than crying like a little b&$@#

After 15 years I still don't see this stuff; I thought the boys played poorly and were seriously out-worked. Where's the team that pinned Miami in its own zone for nearly the entire first period of game 1? I despise ref. Lanseth.pdt1081 wrote:Tonight it's being held, hooked, and interfered with by ferris

BG played like they were on a 60-minute penalty kill.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Re: FSU Friday
Inspired sign, but the pic with Nancy Motte absolutely puts it over the top. Given his level of play last night it might even be true lol

I'm actually starting to worry about the schedule. 20 games in 10 weeks. We're on game 12 tonight. The last 3 weeks has shown a "lack of effort," or a "lack of execution." What if it's "lack of energy?" Perhaps practices are too intense throughout the week, and they can't mentally have the intensity come Friday night. 20 games in 10 weeks might not seem like a lot of hockey, but once you add in classes and homework throughout the week, plus traveling to Pittsburgh, the UP, northern Minnesota, upcoming to Alaska. That's a lot of wear and tear on the mental side.

Re: FSU Friday
ouch, what coach said about Friedman's misconduct last night.
if it was another player, I'd say a rotation is in order.
