BG vs WMU

Post by BGSU33 »

The defending MAC Champs visit the Stroh. WMU is having another solid season and getting Brown back for a 6th year has been part of that. He knows how to score. We stole one up in Kalamazoo last year when Henderson erupted from three. Every game is important for our MAC regular season title hopes and seeding for the MAC Tournament, and this one is no different. This is our final home game vs a MAC West team in the regular season. We lost our last home game to Akron in heartbreaking fashion, gotta get back to our winning ways there.
GO BG!!!

Connar Tava, #2, torched Toldeo for 25 in Western's OT win at Tol earlier this season. It will be interesting to see how he does Tues.

Every game down the stretch is important...especially the home games. Keep an eye on Kent and Akron Tues as well. GO BG

Nobody is here. Maybe 40 students and under 2:00 until tip.

This team deserves better.

Yea, and there were reminder signs all over campus today stating: MEN'S BASKETBALL TONIGHT!!

Coach Jans must be starting to wonder about the lousy fan support.

It's not 4,900 students. It's for a class - Journalism 4900.

Sad part is that our backups got playing time, scored ZERO pts in 3+ minutes. Made the score look more respectable. Guys must've been playing some serious def. Tonite. Glad to see.

Around the rim and out it goes for the bench. Good looks but no roll for end of the bench.

What amazed me was when WMU cleared their bench and suddenly I realized the game out of reach for them. Such a pleasure watching good basketball from the good guys that score and clock were irrelevant.

Loving this season. Tied for best record in MAC in mid February. Go BG!
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

I really like the way this team can have different guys step up on different nights. Tonight, Parker scored. We don't depend on 1 or 2 guys who are the designated shooters. This is a very nice change from recent seasons and, imo, a significant contributor to this season's success.

Just another great performance. Seniors all playing well at the right time of the season. The student section could be empty, who cares? BG basketball is good again.
