I like the hire a lot. And Coach Ward's enthusiasm is great. If a guy can coach, most of the time it doesn't matter much where he's been.

Football Scoop says that Director of Player Personnel Andy Sowder has been promoted to outside receivers coach, the position he coached for 2 years at EIU under Babers.

By my count we still need a running backs coach and a defensive line coach given that Coach Ward's background has been with secondary ("I've coached the secondary for 18 years" he said in the video). With the 9 slots filled those duties (and they're pretty big ones) will have to go to GA's.
