We will need to replace alot at the 2 with both Henderson and Clarke graduating. I imagine Andrews slides right into the rotation if not the starting role at the 2 next year.

Looking at his numbers, knowing what we have returning, and seeing what we lose at the SG spot, I have to believe Jans is expecting this kid to come in and play serious minutes next year.

I have penciled him right into the rotation if not a starter at SG.

Our current rotation is just 8 deep

Joseph-Austin
Henderson-Clarke
Denny
Dickerson-Parker
Holmes

(Gomez, Tisdale, Mayleben)(Worrell)

We lose Hendo-Clarke and Holmes.

Joseph-Austin
XX
Denny
Dickerson-Parker
XX

I would assume both Andrews and Worrell fill 2 of the 3 spots opening up. If we remain with a 8 player rotation, that leaves a spot for Tisdale and Friday (who I deem the most likely to fill it) and Malik, Gomez and Mayleben. And then the other scholarship out there.

Jans deserves an award for what he has gotten out of Clarke and Henderson

Clarke 3PT
2012. .300
2013 .261
2014 .376

Henderson 3PT
2012. .269
2013 .375
2014 .386

Clarke 2PT
2012. .327
2013 .362
2014 .411

Henderson 2PT
2012 .327
2013 .400
2014 .462

Agreed, and that award is MAC COY, IMO. The talent with those two has been obvious since day 1, but for 3 years we never saw it with any consistency. Finally as seniors they have become major contributors, and I would actually point towards their improvement as one of the top reasons we have taken since a giant step forward this year. (Subsequently they've struggled the past 2 games and we suffered two home losses because of it).

I hope he can somehow work that same magic with Tisdale for next year, because we could really use a long athletic guard, but my goodness last year he had the worst shot I've ever seen from a D1 guard. He hasn't really cracked the rotation enough this year to know if he's improved any.

As a player, Andrews reminds me of Anthony Hitchens that played about a year for Akron. He then left the team with personal problems.

I'm not at all excited about any of these guys. This recruiting is look weak. Frankly, the only compelling player Jans has brought in so far is Worrell.

Worrell definitely takes the cake. I think Andrews will be very good for us if not elite. I love his game. Dickerson-Joseph and Austin are all contributors but not stars. I am worried about Malik and Friday contributing right away but I think eventually they will get it.

I think both Friday and Malik will have to change up their games a bit to be major factors. Friday seems to float and Malik will need to improve his shooting and distributing. Both seem like great athletes though.

Joseph looked like a great floor leader early on, but ended up being a 28% FG shooter. Austin platooned with Joseph to constitute a solid MAC PG tandem. Neither are much more than average MAC players, but they did give us great front court depth.

Dickerson was rated as a top 100 player coming out of HS and was originally listed at 6-7. He has been a backup role player. Depth but not much more. If he played hurt this year and is undergoing a medical procedure, then maybe he'll be great next year.

Our success this year is due to Holmes, Clarke, Henderson, Parker, and Denny - recruits of the predecessor.

The two guards we're bringing in don't shoot high FG% and neither have many assists. The post player has dull numbers against above-average HS competition and has appeared to be lazy in footage.
