BG at Miami

What has gotten into Miami??? The RedHawks were plodding all season then all of a sudden caught fire the last two weeks. They are the hottest team in the MAC right now having won four consecutive games - all vs East foes - mowing down Ohio, BG, Akron and Kent State, respectively. They took it to us at the Stroh last week. Hopefully we can return the favor. Big game for BG.

Next season the east could be decided by the MU/BG games. Who'd have seen that one coming??

Watched Akron beat Ohio, 70-58 at the JAR on ESPN U tonight. They are now 9-7 MAC. We need to go to Millet and thump them...payback from last week. IF we can win 2 of the last 3, we should get a top 4 seed and bye in the tourney.

Exactly, and I agree, we probably need to win twice more to avoid having to play in the first round. Up until two weeks ago I thought this was a win for us. Then Miami beat us at home and has been rolling since. But, we've been pretty damn good on the road, so we'll see. Should be a good game though.

Found a feed ...kind of goofy in that it posts rebounds Before the shots, and posts things twice, but at least I got to see things in progress. Looks like Holmes is having another solid game, but not without a lot of support on offense. Hope we can hang on to this lead.

10:41 left in game down 41-31!!!!! Have yet to score in 2nd half. If anyone is listening, I'm betting Miami is pressing and trapping... All I see on stat line is a BG turnover or missed shot. Jans has got to be pulling out his hair... A 4pt. Lead turns to a 10pt deficit!

Not pretty but a win is still a win. They won by grinding it out down the stretch. I hope they keep winning to go into the tournament with a rough stretch behind them and riding a lot of momentum.
