BG vs Kent State

Post by BGSU33 »

Last regular season home game, senior night, and very well the last home game of any kind for the year. We're tied for first with two games to go, so obviously it's a HUGE game. Kent State likes to gun from outside and as we saw firsthand Hall is a beast inside. I hope we can rid ourselves of whatever it is that has us playing poorly at home (we've lost 3 of our last 4 at the Stroh including back-to-back in our last 2) and get a win here as we need it bigtime.

Huge game and can not wait for this one. Biggest game in the Stroh Center's short history. Biggest game of the season as well. NEED to beat KSU and take over the tie breaker with the season sweep.

I hope Henderson and Clarke can regain their outside shot, and Denny plays the way he did to finish the game on Saturday. Holmes will be fine, I'm confident in him, but if we get that play from the perimeter guys we're in good shape.

I agree, this probably is the biggest game in the short history of the Stroh for the men's team. People can talk all they want about the Michigan State game but this one is way, way more important. No question we need those guys to regain and find their touch from outside. It has eluded them and cost us dearly in our two losses two weeks ago.

The line started at BG -6.5. It's down to -4 now. It appears nobody knows what to predict what will happen in this league from one night to the next. Would any result in this game be a surprise?

FWIW, RPI Forecast has BG with a 70% chance to win.

I really believe the key to the offense clicking is getting high energy from Parker. If he plays 100% to his ability, the outside game will have a better chance of working. Having his athletic slashing, scoring, rebounding is key to this [any] team, and takes the heat off of our shooters, giving them better looks from long range.

I predict a win, a comfortable win, at the end of a competitive game.

Wish I was there as well...BiG game tonight. Root for BG to win, OU to beat Buffalo and CMU to beat tsun. We own the tie breaker with CMU. That would be the perfect night tonight.

Couldn't get out to Stroh so I am trying to get it on the radio and 99.1 is not coming in well at all. Was unable to connect to them via internet also. Any ideas?

Thanks!
I finally got it coming through over the internet loud and clear. If anyone is interested: do a search for 99.1 fm and Fremont then click listen live.
