The in bounds mishap at the 1:10 min mark was the difference. We lost the ball and the crowd momentum. Then we missed TWO free throws late.

We let that one get away. Credit Kent, they made the plays and we had a bonehead over and back and missed FT's.

Anyone know how the crowd was? I know several alluded to this being biggest game in Stroh history...would be nice to see we had a BIG turnout for a change.
Just watching the live stat line, I know I was frustrated...guaranteed TWO FT's late in game and miss em BOTH? So we're tied again with a trip to Buffalo, who just beat us at our place.

We've been bad against good MAC teams. We beat CMU on the road ans beat KSU early in the conference schedule. I say we have a lot to prove against Buffalo.

Terribly stupid play at the end. Pissed the game away. The over and back. The foul shots. The stupid three by Clarke with an open lane. All dumb plays to end the game. So frustrating.

Not to mention that the bonehead over and back was the only touch Holmes had in the final three minutes.

Love coach Jan's but I think he out thought himself a bit down the stretch. Even still Clarke and Joseph missed good looks and Dickerson bricked two freebies.

It was an awesome game with an awful finish.
