Skinhawk reactions to our move back east

Post by Bleeding Orange »

http://www.miamihawktalk.com/discussion ... 3&start=25

This is a pretty funny and insightful thread from www.miamihawktalk.com about our move to the east, followed by some inane comments from yours truly. Generally, Miami fans seem to be pleased with our competition, but reading their views, I am learning for the first time that there are a lot of people out there who think Toledo is the "darling" of the MAC offices. I didn't think it was possible for Toledo to be the darling of anything but these people do make some good points.

Anyhoo, just thought you all might like to see this!

**disclaimer** - my disdain for the National Tractor Pull stems largely from the fact that I, too, live very close to the fairgrounds and hate hearing the damn tractors every year (see post for context).

Thank you. :P

The one memory I will have of the Pull was that one year it fell on move-in weekend. When I went to the grocery store, there were some pretty slim pickin's in the beer department...

The University tries to stay away from Championship Weekend when it can. Unfortunately the academic calendar didn't work out last year and I don't think it works out this year either.
