Nope. Says you would be crazy to transfer before playing in the Michigan game!

Congrats and happy for Matt.

Johnson(R-SR), Knapke(R-JR), Callaway (SO), Nicholas(R-JR). Going to be a battle for reps in camp. And a serious battle when Morgan arrives this summer. 5 scholarships QBs.

Great to hear, will be an interesting Spring with the talent at QB available. I'd imagine MJ has the leg up on the others but I wouldn't be shocked if Nicholas emerges as the stiffest competition and becomes the backup.

I'm guessing either Knapke or Callaway gets moved to another position. Assuming Matt returns to his starting role.

And yes...Matt will be a Senior this year.

What position could Knapke move to? Even Callaway is a stretch to play another position IMO.

No eye dear.

Just guessing...I certainly doubt we will keep 5 guys at the QB position. Although we'll more than likely redshirt Morgan.

Having that kind of competition and depth, at any position for that matter, can and will only make us better. This is the exact kind of problem you hope to have. It means you've recruited, developed and coached them right. Ask a certain team from Columbus, Ohio if this was a nice problem to have. We lost our QB in the opener, they lost both of theirs late in the season. You never know when a guy is going to go down and when another guy is going to get called to step in. But when it happens, you need to be prepared and ready.
