A few of the younger NMU players got pretty chippy towards the end of the game. Coach Bergeron said that their coaches and the seniors on NMU apologized in the handshake line for the play of their younger guys.

THANK YOU for posting that pic! When the seniors started doing the lap around the rink, I about lost it!! What a very special group of guys!! And as Bergeron said at the banquet, "Their story isn't done yet!!"

That was the ALUMNI Band playing last night and they will be there tonight

It was? I would have liked to get in on that but didn't get a heads up. They usually send an email but i didn't see one. Oh well.

I saw several tweets asking for alumni to play this weekend at the games, so assumed it was alumni playing as students are on break. They sounded awesome, whomever it was...and some of them looked pretty young when I walked past them in the hall....
