If Wichita State coach leaves does Jans head back to Kansas?

How about it Falcon fans.
If the Wichita State coach heads for greener $$$ pastures, is Jans one and done at BGSU?

Alabama is prepared to offer $3 million per year to it's next head coach. Gregg Marshall is their #1 target.

It doesn't sound like Marshall would leave, but you never know. Anyway - I have a feeling us Falcon fans will have to deal with March rumors every season for as long as Jans is here....

If you put too many people on Guam...will it tip over?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Who is buried in Grant's tomb?
Re: If Wichita State coach leaves does Jans head back to Kan
Who is John Galt?
Re: If Wichita State coach leaves does Jans head back to Kan
Steve Lavin has just been let go by St. Johns. Rick Barnes at Texas has been told that he needs to fire his assistant coaches and restructure it's offense or he will be fired. If Marshall doesn't go to Alabama he could go to Texas if that opens up. Also, Hurley could now end up at St. Johns

Texas which now has an opening is a much bigger threat for Gregg Marshall than either Alabama or Tennessee.
Coach Jans would certainly be on a short list at Wichita but there are other MORE than capable assistants on that staff, most notably Steve Forbes who could just as easily slide over a chair. I really hope that we can make it through the next six weeks or so without much news

Will he run for President again? I liked his ideas in taxation
Is a job at directional school (like EMU) worse than a job at a college that get's a WTFIT (where the f**k is that?) reaction? ETSU doesn't seem like a great job, but then people know approximately where it is. People hear BGSU and they probably think WTFIT?

Good catch Flipper. SoCon is actually a very good conference comparable to the MAC. That would make for some interesting inter-conference matchups.

I would think finishing "unfinished business" here at BG has got to mean something to Jans. I have a hunch that kind of thing is in his DNA.
He would not be on any sort of honeymoon period back at Wichita State. Here he could write his own coaching legacy if he brings this program to the promised land.
This article from last year says to me he is "All In":

Re: If Wichita State coach leaves does Jans head back to Kan
Many people on Texas message boards and Wichita message boards are reporting Gregg Marshall will be introduced Tuesday as Texas next coach at over 4 million per year. Many over at Wichita site think Jans may go back. Will be an interesting next 2 weeks for sure.

George Mason is in a search for a new head basketball coach. Jay Larranaga and Michael Huger are two names of several, surfacing as candidates.
I also see that Geno Ford was fired at Bradley after 4 underwhelming years. He was making between $500K and $600K annually
