Martin could be a guy like Detroit's LB Tahir Whitehead. Makes a roster on special teams and plays a few years covering kicks and playing back up. He works at it, gains a little size and strength and becomes a quality back up in a position to maybe start.

Good to hear that he is getting some attention. That UMass game tape was un-flattering to say the least.

I wonder about DJ Lynch. He's a little bit bigger but doesnt have as much athleticism. Would love to see both these guys get a shot. Chris Jones has done pretty well in the league. Hopefully Bayer gets some regular season action this year too.

The offer for DJ was pulled by the Chiefs, but now the Patriots have made an offer to DJ to come to mini-camp. I also read somewhere Jude Adjei-Barimah was given a mini-camp invite to Tennessee, but that's now been pulled.

Adjei-Barimah was signed by Tampa Bay last week and Gabe Martin is impressing in Arizona. Bruce Arians believes he will earn a spot as LB in nickel packages.
