Watched his huddle video again. His best traits are his speed, aggressiveness, athleticism, shooting in traffic and handles. Doesn't seem to be a great distributor or outside shooter but should be at worst a great second guard in the offense. His height is a bit concerning for a 2 guard but if Tisdale ends up at the 1 he is 6-4 and really your height matters most on D.

Look forward to adding another guard, but I am a bit worried about a 5'11 guard that cannot shoot. His overall FG% is good, so I'm guessing he's got some good handles and can get to (and finish around) the rim, but that's a tough road to hoe at 5'11 in D1 hoops if you don't have a jumper.

Tisdale already gives us one guard that has absolutely no shooting ability...hopefully Malik is coachable and the staff can fix an obvious flaw in his shot. 23% from 3 and 66% from the line scares me a bit.

19-81 from the 3pt line. Many of us could beat that.

Sr highlights are available. I am not sure where he will fit long term without many assists and not shooting well from beyond the arc but with his athleticism and aggressiveness he is fun as hell to watch.

I know you listed his 3pt stats etc. but it looks like he's got a smooth stroke... And being left handed could prove to be a real asset.

I know. He doesn't look like he has a bad shot at all. That's really encouraging. Maybe its in his head. If I remember correctly he was also a really big football player and a prospect there. I could be confusing that though because the PG for his squad was. If he was, shooting comes a ton from your legs and maybe he was just tired. But his legs didn't look tired on those dunks. For a 5-11 guy he has got some hops.
