Was the video shot by the same family that shot the Jans video?

Yes...I agree...2015 will be yet another year that tu doesn't win the MAC. You look to be headed towards a solid 3rd place finish behind WMU and NIU. That's really good...for you guys.

Haven't beaten UT since they stopped playing for the peace pipe. We'll keep losing until we actually show up in the first quarter and play a full game. Pathetic that we have lost 5 straight times to a team that has been rather mediocre by their standards in that time frame. Props to their coaching staff for owning us for half a decade now :/

Robbie Rhodes is the second player charged from the incident at Liquid. Rhodes was charged with aggravated menacing in relationship to the attack Thomas had on the club bouncer. He wasn't arrested but was served with a citation from the Wood County Courthouse. Apparently there's a third person involved but I'm not sure if it's someone related to an athletic program or not.

Rhodes got into trouble at Baylor. Was counting on him having a great season this year. Yet he gets himself in trouble before even catching a single pass.

A second Bowling Green State University football player has been charged in connection to a May 29 altercation at a downtown bar.
Bowling Green Deputy Police Chief Tony Hetrick said that Robert Rhodes, 21, Bowling Green, was served Tuesday with a citation for aggravated menacing. He was not jailed.
The charge is part of a continuing investigation into the multi-part incident, which has already resulted in the arrest of another Falcon football player, Bryan Thomas, 23, Bowling Green, for felonious assault. Thomas was subsequently suspended from the team "indefinitely" according to a statement from Assistant Director for Athletic Communications Scott Swegan.
The altercation was reported after 1:30 a.m. on May 29 at Liquid, 238 N. Main Street.
Hetrick said the matter seems to involve three separate but related incidents. The first incident involved a man being allegedly assaulted by an unknown white male outside of the bar. That incident was not caught on surveillance footage.
That victim subsequently went inside of Liquid, where Rhodes reportedly accosted him, said Hetrick, demanding money from him.
A bouncer at the bar, seeing the confrontation, then reportedly attempted to break it up, and he was then allegedly assaulted by Thomas, sustaining a broken eye-socket, according to Hetrick.
Hetrick said Rhodes was one of two previously unidentified subjects caught on surveillance footage that police sought the aid of the public in identifying last week. Rhodes, who was wearing a flowered-print shirt in the footage, was identified through a tip provided to police, and through a statement of his alleged victim.
Police continue to seek the identities of another man caught in the footage with an arm-sleeve tattoo, and the unknown white male in the initial assault.
BGSU Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communication Jason Knavel said he could not offer comment at this time and was seeking further information.
Rhodes, a redshirt sophomore wide receiver for the Falcons, sat out last season due to NCAA transfer rules. He is a transfer from Baylor University, where he played 10 games on their football team as a freshman. There, he had 10 catches for 157 yards.

This is very disappointing to hear about with Rhodes. He sat out last season without making any kind of news like this. Who knows if this will affect his chances at taking the field now at BG or not. I hope not because I'm dying to see him play at BG, but this certainly won't help his cause. Baylor head coach Art Briles said Rhodes was “Was the best WR in US” coming out of hight school and went on to add “When he looks up in the sky, those clouds are open, there is no ceiling.”

Gee..I wonder what Mr Rhodes was trying to collect money from that other fellow for....

I'm about ready to say "screw it" and find another way to spend my Saturdays and random mid week November evenings. If this collection of knuckleheads is being trotted out to represent my University, I'll pass.

Thats great Briles, except he can't get out of his own way.

They played like thugs on the field last year and sure as heck are acting like them off it.

I can't say this in enough ways ... avoid situations where trouble can happen. Bars at 1:30 ... people who owe you money for whatever ... significant others with whom you fight ... none of these things tend to lead to good endings. Keep your life free of these situations and you avoid trouble.

I really hope that's the lesson being taught to the kids. I hope they're not being taught to avoid getting caught or avoid throwing a punch but instead avoiding situations where only bad outcomes can be expected.
