East Side Season Tix Folks...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Yo,

Every year I've had season tix they've been on the West side. The last few years I've been watching the games more from the East Side even though my tix were on the West. It's a cool change and I like seeing a full side with volume.

Those that have East side...what do you like best about it? I can always move to the West side during points of the game but I am curious as to why you like the East side better?

Thanks in advance and GO FALCONS!!! Beat Tn...

The best thing is that I can see our sideline's reaction. I like sitting across from our coaches in all the sports to see their reactions and interactions on the sideline. I find the game management aspect of coaching very interesting.

And it's usually sunny and thus warmer on the cooler days. Never forget your hat and sunglasses.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Agree on both of Field Turf's reasons, plus the fact that we have been there so long that we know know most of the people around us and call them friends. a lot of 50's, 60's and 70's Falcon alums sitting around us.

I had season tickets for years on the east side. The big benefit is that I was able to get them on the 50 without much trouble. It's roomier over there. It also happens to be closer to the parking.

The major downside is the sun. Depending on the time of kickoff, it can be a bit tough trying to follow the action while looking into the sun. This is an issue for our August Thursday night starts, for example.

Overall, I like the east side. I prefer to sit over there at this point.

I've sat on the east side at times, and the only major downfall is that the band plays to the west. I enjoy hearing the band, so my season tickets are on the west.

I like the east side....shorter concessions lines and shorter lines to the bathroom to deal with the symptoms of food poisoning from those concessions
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Mike, I know what you're saying re: east side...but last time I sat there was the "disappearing turf" game vs Miami. Was probably the most miserable BG I've ever sat thru...(and there have been plenty) . Still prefer west side if for no reason better weather protection. Not to mention closer to BG bench. And wouldnt give up my " premium" seats for a switch. =D>
