Talks a lot about the ambiguity of the transfers. Talks about people buying in. Huger talks about staying for the long term.
Great article on Huger, explains a lot

I like the new attitude.
I think there was a mistake in the article: One thing was sure: nine players were scheduled to return from the 2014-15 team that went 21-12 and made its first postseason appearance in 40 years. I believe 40 years since a win. I believe there were a couple of appearances in the last 40 years but losses.

Nice article. Huger and the program seem to be past all the BS now and are in the groove and moving forward. Good job.
Did anyone ever consider we may have UNDER-acheived last season? Our tailspin at end of year [not closing out games at home] could be traced to burnout? Jans had a lot of positives - but maybe he needed to let up a bit near the end of the year.

I didn't catch on that Jans intensity may have been too over the top until after the season with all the transfer rumors. Looking back it all fits though. A nice turn around could have been even better without the end of the year collapse. The team played their best at mid season.
I was luke warm with a wait and see attitude about the Huger hire. He was our pg when i started school and i loved watching him play. It was nice to have him back, just wasn't sure about his lack of experience as a head coach. I'm liking what I'm hearing more and more though and i think he could have that rare personality where he can get the team working as hard as Jans did and still keep their respect and make it fun. I'm sure that's not an easy thing to do.

I caught an interview with Huger on BCSN recently....I was really impressed. He talked a lot about his time here under coach Larranaga and how he would have the team over to his house for dinner and that being a part of that family structure was helpful to guys who were away from home for the first time.
On offense, he's going to run a lot of motion and ball screens
I'm really looking forward to the coming season

Apparently, someone at the ST caught the error and corrected the article.
