Better check eBay
Hope someone bought one before they were pulled off the shelf. A sure collectors item!

Heck, they're probably still on display and for sale. Two things jump out at me immediately. One, how does this get made and approved (as in how many people did this pass through as it was thought of, designed, printed, shipped, etc)? And two, how does this get displayed and not noticed? The former would fall on the company that created the product. The latter would fall on a Wal-Mart employee(s). It makes you wonder if any of them wondered what that orange splotch was supposed to be on the shirt.transfer2BGSU wrote:Hope someone bought one before they were pulled off the shelf. Wouldn't Falcon Sports Properties have to give permission for the production of the shirt since it uses the BGSU logo?BGSU33 wrote:

I have no idea but good question. As far as the actual use of the BG logo, they at least got that part correct.transfer2BGSU wrote:Wouldn't Falcon Sports Properties have to give permission for the production of the shirt since it uses the BGSU logo?BGSU33 wrote:

You usually purchase rights to use a sports logo on a T-shirt. There are rules on how you are allowed to use the logo and name, but rarely would you need to run it through the university or team.

The theory of any publicity is good publicity is one reason they could have approved it if it's even necessary for design approval.transfer2BGSU wrote:Wouldn't Falcon Sports Properties have to give permission for the production of the shirt since it uses the BGSU logo?BGSU33 wrote:

I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

The T-Shirt was released by Falcon Sports Properties' bumbling sister organization, Falcon Distorts Improperly.
