Those uniforms are probably not as popular with today's recruits as some might think.

Well, they seemed to be popular enough as Hawaii has worn them multiple times the last couple years since they brought them back. I know for sure they wore them in 2013 vs San Diego State and last season vs Nevada in 2014.

Diggin' the old school neck roll. I wore the same one in high school. Didn't do any good, functionally, but I liked the look. A little surprised you never see anyone sportin' one of those anymore -- just for a fashion statement.

For the guys old enough to remember him, Steve Grogan of the Patriots won the prize for neck rolls. The first time I saw him with that thing as a kid, I asked my dad why that guy had a toilet seat around his neck.
