GO BG!!!
Re: 2015 BG Football Media Guide
I know it was said on a different thread but I'm a bit worried about the size of our DEs. They're both listed at 238. It is a bit odd that they are only 12 pounds heavier than OLB Valdez. I'm hoping either the weights are not up to date or the ends are explosive and make up for lack of weight with acceleration and strength.
I'm a bit worried going up against the big offensive lines. Tennessee has a big line and Purdue has a 6'8" 420 pound monster on the line. I'm a bit worried but I also am optimistic, or at least am hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Check the roster on the website. It has been more recently updated over what you see in the media guide. There were a lot of weight changes made.MarkL wrote:I know it was said on a different thread but I'm a bit worried about the size of our DEs. They're both listed at 238. Yeah the media guide is incorrect on the weights and even some numbers. They have Rhodes listed as #80 in the media guide while the website has it updated to #7.BGSU33 wrote:Check the roster on the website. The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: 2015 BG Football Media Guide
Babers talked at MAC media day about he doesn't give away single digit numbers to just anyone. I thought that was interesting.
He said Travis Greene had to earn his number change last year.
Makes me wonder what the single digit guys had to do.

Nothing, Babers giving a Babers esque quote. Roger Lewis, #1 as a true freshman, Clint Stephens #2 as a true freshman, Knapke #3 as the backup QB, Dieter #4 had not played a snap for BG. But he made a guy who set the single season rushing record earn his single digit number.thewebboy wrote:Babers talked at MAC media day about he doesn't give away single digit numbers to just anyone. There are 11 single digit numbered players this year.
