Coach Dakich on 1470 The Ticket

Post by Forbes1013 »

On his weekly conversation on 1470 Coach Dakich revealed his three favorite TV shows:

Desparate Housewives
Boston Legal
World Poker Tour - He said he the young players are all a bunch of punks.

The man needs help.

He is on every Monday at about 4:15 or 4:30. The only problem is you have to put up with Norm "Don't talk with your mouth full & am I impressed with myself" Wamer. I don't think Normie is smart enough to know when the Coach is slamming him.

I interviewed Dakich earlier today, and I must say I am pretty much terrified of him. I wouldn't think Desperate Housewives is on his TV schedule.

Fascinating. Why does he terrify you? Not that it's all that surprising, mind you.

Concerning Desperate Housewives, I'm very confident that that show is on the TV schedule of many, many healthy, red blooded men. (Nicollette Sheridan, Teri Hatcher, Eva, ...are you kidding me?)

I am not in the media, but I would be scared of him too. You never know when you might ask a question and he goes off on you, or says something that is completely off topic that you have to scratch your head and say what? I have noticed on the post game interviews on radio, he usually ends up telling Todd what to ask. Like, "hey I don't want to talk about the fact we turned it over 23 times and lost, ask me what I think about my Cubs trading Sammy Sosa." :?

I asked him if he felt Almanson was a worthy candidate of MAC POY if the season ended right now, and all he said was that he didn't care, and he was just trying to win a game. Granted, I'd expect him to be more worried about the team that one player, but I thought it was a fair question esp. concerning his numbers this season and coming off a 23 pt. performance on the road. Oh well.

When he's talking Falcon basketball during the season, he's a tough interview. I think anyone would agree with that in the media.

So what does Coach D think about Sosa being an Oriole?

I'm certain he's happy. Sosa walked out on his team during the final game last season. I don't think Coach Dakich particularly likes people that quit on the program.

If we are talkin about Hatcher when she was on Seinfeld...it was "They're real, and they're spactacular. And yes, Dakich is an extremely tough interview. Every question has to be worded just right....otherwise he won't cooperate.
