Tennessee Wishes You Well Against Maryland!!!

Hi guys. I just came back here to thank all of you wonderful BGSU fans for the excellent and respectful discussions we had before the BGSU vs. Tennessee game. You have an outstanding offense, and I feel sure that your defense will improve greatly as more games are played.

Sorry to have to say it, but the Oklahoma fans are proving themselves to be one of the worst and most conceited trash-talking bunches in all of college football. Some quite mean about it. From the way they are talking, you would think the jabber is about God himself rather than their college football team. And they are saying even more terrible things about BGSU's team than Tennessee---quite unjustified I think.

If anyone wants to tune in on Tennessee vs. Oklahoma at Neyland Stadium, it is on ESPN at 6:00 p.m. EDT tomorrow. I wish BGSU and its fans the best of luck with Maryland and the rest of your schedule. You are a class bunch of folks at a class university with a fine football team. You have made a BGSU fan out of me---and I suspect a number of other Tennessee fans.

Good luck against Oklahoma...we played them in 2004 and largely had a good experience with their fanbase but I think having both teams being ranked brings out some of the ugly from the more casual fan.

BG will be on BTN at noon against Maryland...many feel it's a game the Falcons can win should they improve defensively and on special teams. I'm pulling for UT to run the table, for one I'm tired of the Alabama's and LSU's of the SEC running wild every year, and two Tennessee has an outstanding fanbase with many classy people.

As my son and I left Nashville Sunday, we drove to Knoxville and visited the U of TN. What a beautiful campus and setting. Sorry to say we could not get in Neyland Stadium but reading Neyland's bio through the gates??? an unbelievably successful coach. Took a pic of T-B Arena and the statue to the GREAT Pat Summit. We then went to Blacksburg for the Va Tech / O$U game. I so wish our game had been in Neyland...what a very impressive and imposing venue.
