MAC Pick 'Em Week 3

It was a topsy-turvy weekend in the MAC as Toledo defeated #18 Arkansas and Bowling Green took down Maryland. Impressive road wins for the conference as a whole, and a feather in the cap as Ohio beat The Herd in Athens. Eastern Michigan also won their first non-conference road game since 1988! On the flip side, Western Michigan laid an egg against Georgia Southern and the boat rowers are now 0-2 to start the season.

11. Minnesota over Kent State. Not much of a game, though it would be cool if April Goss kicks a PAT or FG against a Big Ten team.
10. Akron over Savannah State. No FCS upsets.
9. Ohio over SE Louisiana. No FCS upsets
8. Ohio State over Northern Illinois. Don't be shocked if NIU hangs around for a half or so. They're a good squad, just nowhere near the depth they need for this kind of an upset
7. UT over Iowa State. If Kansas doesn't go 0-12, it's because they beat Iowa State. ISU is bad.
6. WMU over Murray State. WMU finally gets a win.
5. Temple over UMass. I'm not surprised how good Temple has been. I was surprised how bad UMass got blown out of the park by Colorado.
4. Cincinnati over MU. MU is still a year or two away.
3. Ball State over Eastern Michigan. EMU had a big win but a) Wyoming is bad and b) EMU is new to dealing with success so I think they'll be unprepared.
2. Bowling Green over Memphis. Our defense comes to play and gives the offense a shot to win. The offense executes and scores a ton and pulls away in
the third.
1. Florida Atlantic over Buffalo. I just don't know enough about UB yet. FAU can score.

I forgot to make my picks last week, so I'm essentially out of the running for any prizes. Now I just want to get out of the basement.

12 - Bowling Green - It will be a great game, but BG will pull away in the 4th with a big home crowd.
11 - Toledo - It's early, but if we both keep winning, we could both be in the Top 15 by the end of the year.
10 - Temple - Can you imagine this Temple team vs BG in November for the MAC East Championship?

Thanks for catching that, I thought I had included it but apparently not.

I will simply give everyone 12 points for the CMU/Syracuse regardless of the result, consider it an early Christmas gift. Cameron, if you want to just remove that game and adjust your point values that would probably be the best case scenario.
