Game Security

Post by footballguy51 »

It was mentioned at the Board meeting that we will be using more students as game security instead of CSC folks. It will be interesting to see how things change with this, but it was mentioned that the students will have school spirit (as opposed to CSC guys in Buckeyes gear).

Just a reminder to people. Seems like first game every year there are people complaining about taking forever to get through the gates so get there early enough to see kickoff or you might end up missing the first quarter.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the "new" Falcon Club entrance. If we have the brown wristbands on, it's supposed to be easier. But both Joyce and I are FC members, but they only sent ONE wristband for us. Also, we're bringing two friends with us. Will they be allowed thru this gate too? Should be interesting to say the least.. [-o<

I didn't join the Falcon Club this year. They have never contacted me or sent any reminders. If they don't make the effort, neither will I.

Interesting BG or Death.

I did not renew in 2014 due to basically not being asked to, but this past summer I was actually called and emailed by the new Falcon Club guy Chris and have been impressed with his communication and follow up.

It was nice to see Falcon Club donors rewarded with a raised place to watch the game in our top flight facility. Outside of the availability of beer sales (now a moot point), I never saw much reason to go into the Falcon Club tent. I've hoped that part of the rumored renovation would include a raised south endzone for more of a permanent Falcon Club/bookstore facility, but maybe we've found an answer in an existing building.

Even more unrelated, I thought the new orange signage around the front of the stands looked real sharp on TV and gave it a bit of a pro feel.
