INJURY REPORT: The Falcons enter Saturday’s contest with few changes to the two-deep because of injury.
The most notable is senior cornerback Darrell Hunter, who has not played since he was injured in the victory at Maryland. Babers said that Hunter, who still is not practicing with the team, will be out indefinitely.

Hurts so much to hear. I hope Darrell is able to get back to 100%. Not for the 2015 team but for his career and all of his future.

Too bad for Darrell, he's had some nagging injuries the past few seasons and to possibly lose him for the remainder of his senior year is a tough blow to the defense. I would assume Mack is good to go on Saturday then.

Hunter's injury stings for multiple reasons. One, the injury occurred when he was hit by his own teammate (busted play and the two collided and Maryland scored a TD on it). Two, we already lost two CB's Nick Johnson and Will Watson on the offseason. And three, CB is THE position Babers eluded we could not afford another loss and it's happened. I was really hoping we'd see Hunter back by MAC play but now I'm starting to wonder if we'll see him ever again.

Another loss back there at CB and we could be in a world of hurt because when Mack went down they went right at Gourdine (who is now trying to play CB) and he was out of position multiple times and it looked like he was the one who blew that coverage assignment on the long TD they scored on off the pass to the flat. We even had Ronnie Moore trying to run around on D to help out.

I wonder if they'll try to move someone like Ballew to CB, if I remember he was recruited as a safety and then converted to a linebacker. There are a couple of freshmen that are available as well but I'm not sure if Babers is going to want to throw them in the fire mid-season.

Anyone know what's going on with Marcus Milton? I thought he was listed on a two-deep in the spring.

Hasn't Deontre Delk played a little CB here? On his HS tape, Teo Redding looked like a pretty good CB prospect...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

That royally sucks for Lockdown Hunter. Like others have said, those nagging injuries the last couple years have been so frustrating for him.

I thought Milton was injured as well?

I remember Diontre Delk was moved to DB in 2013 then broke his arm. Last year he was still listed as a DB but I don't remember seeing him out there at all. This year I saw him listed back at WR where we might be the deepest of any position. But I'm guessing if he could give us anything at DB, or any other DB for that matter, that we would have seen one of them out there at CB and not WR Ronnie Moore.

Keep in mind we were on the road. We might have had people that didn't make the travel roster. Because of that, Ronnie Moore might have been the only option we had.

The depth chart for the Buffalo game lists Hunter as the starting CB. I'm surprised Janssen Patton and Keon Newson aren't still up there.
