Real nice stand by the D again but I can't believe we didn't get points on the previous drive. That could have been huge. Remember, UB gets the ball to start the second half.

Up until the last few minutes the team has played great. Then a weird call to forgo the field goal leads to no points on an otherwise great drive, defense gives up a huge drive, another unsportsmanlike conduct (which albeit may be a makeup call) flips the score from 24-3 to 21-6. Still a big lead. Lots to be happy about but also lots to improve upon and rethink.

Tate's kick nowhere even close. I know it was a long attempt but he looks nothing like the Tate of last year. Not even close.

We haven't made a FG since game one. I liked the idea to go for it there but the play call was awful IMO. We had 4th and inches and ran that after two timeouts? After lining up heave before both timeouts we then spread the field and emptied the backfield. I would have had Johnson break out of shotgun and walk up to the line and sneak it. We only needed about a foot.

You kick it down there in that situation because you have a comfortable lead and Tate needed a confidence kick. I know it goes against Babers' philosophy, but that situation called for it. 24-3 lead would not have been a bad thing.
