BG now 4-3-1 as we head into MAC play this weekend...

A MAC record of 2-2 heading into a Friday game with The School Up North (some might say TSUN). BG had one-goal losses to Miami and Ball State, two teams who usually can be found near the top of the standings, on the opening weekend. But, last weekend, BG drubbed Akron on Friday, then beat defending MAC champion Buffalo on Sunday! I'm not making plans for a MAC Championship parade this year, but this team has shown improvement each year and should at least get into the MAC Tournament.

Sunday was a B!G win for the ladies. They won that game in the final minute. In the past, we would have gone into overtime and then had a momentary lapse and Buffalo would have scored. This time, the ladies found the way to win.

Lauren Cadell - what can you say about her in goal? She had several amazing saves.

Erica Hubert and Mikaela Couch have had multiple goal games this season.

I think this squad has turned a corner. It's already proven it will be a spoiler - just ask Buffalo.
