Hey AZZ friends who usually join us at our camper:
FYI: We won't have the camper out there this weekend due to the numerous things going on! Friday we're going to the Hall of Fame banquet (Go Disco Dan!). With the Football game at 2:00 (and will likely last 4 hrs!) and the hockey game afterwards, we don't like leaving the camper out there unattended for that long. We are planning on setting up our tailgate at our car in the area where we used to park last year (Lot 13 across from El Zarape). Hope to see everyone!!
We'll back to business as usual for the homecoming game!!

GO FALCONS!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second." ~~USCHO Poster "BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got." ~~USCHO Poster, AFTER Tech beat us #NeverGiveUp

Thanks for the head's up Marta!
I was gonna post a thread to see who all was going up to tailgate this weekend. I'm planning to be out there with a few friends, and the new little Falcon will be making his debut as well. I've got some BBQ planned and look forward to a good time. Weather looks good. Can't wait to get out there, cannot believe I haven't tailgated at a game yet this year!
Me too Tony, me too! That weather forecast sounds just PERFECT! Tara is driving separately because she's not sure about taking him outside all day, but if we get good weather it shouldn't be a big deal!
I'm smoking a rack of Beef Short Ribs for the occasion along with a pan of baked beans. John's bringing mac & cheese and wings. We'll have 2 kettles going out there to keep it all hot, and the beer will be flowing.
Ready to tailgate, I cannot remember the last time I made it through all of September without tailgating! Stupid schedule!

Darn Marta,
We're bringing up 2 friends on Sat. Terry asked if " that NEAT camper" was gonna be there so he could show it off to Audrey. So I said " sure, they're always here especially for the early season games". I'll break the news to him gently on the trip over.... Ah, he won't be too broken up. Anyone know if MAJOR FALCON' s ride will be there? Always nice to have a Home base to look for.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
I'll be driving up separately from the boys...there is a party at the Huron Yacht Club at 7 I have to get back for as soon as the game is over. HATE to miss the hockey game but gotta make sacrifices to keep Mrs. Freak happy. lol. Josh and Jake will be at the Hockey game as well.
GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!

Depending on a number of factors, we may be up with the camper Saturday morning, but will probably be forced to park in the segregated lot (Stroh Center parking).

If you're not TOO early, the Stroh lot will be full and you'll have to park in Lot 13, like a LOT of other campers had to do for the Memphis game. The Stroh lot filled up pretty early!!! And anyone who usually brings a camper knew from the beginning that the Stroh lot would not be big enough for all of the campers who come to a home game.
Tony and Brian: Can't wait to meet the newest little Falcons!!

The RV/Camper parking plan for BG football this year is not very good. Don't fix what ain't broken.

Weather.com is holding firm with 65, partly cloudy with REALLY light winds. Couldn't ask for better in BG in mid-October.
If there's anything we can contribute to the festivities, let me know. Not sure what our plan is, but the target is to stop by and say hello to everyone for awhile. (Amazing how many people actually want to see me this trip.... )
Hoping for good weather and a happy baby that can make it through her first football game and on to her first hockey game after that!
