INJURY REPORT: The bad news for the Falcons is that cornerback Darrell Hunter remains out after suffering an injury in the Maryland contest. Also, reserve offensive lineman Christian Piazza said on Twitter Monday that he was having season-ending surgery.

Oddly enough...you left out the good news that Huettel and Dietz are probable for Saturday

Even worse is his replacement, Jewish Piazza, is unable to play games on Saturdays.

Heading into the Kent State game, Hunter is out and Dietz is doubtful:

Cornerback Darrell Hunter, who was injured in the second week of the season at Maryland, still is not practicing with the team and will not play Saturday. Offensive lineman Logan Dietz was in uniform but also wore a walking boot Wednesday and did not practice. Babers said Dietz is doubtful for the contest against the Golden Flashes.

Heading into the Ohio game:

INJURY REPORT: Senior cornerback Darrell Hunter still is not practicing and will be out, but offensive lineman Alex Huettel and Logan Dietz, who have been in and out of the lineup recently, have practiced, and they are expected to see action. Junior defensive end Terrance Bush, who was injured late in the Kent State game, is questionable. Sophomore short-yardage back Donovan Wilson saw limited practice time Sunday, but Babers said he is probable.

Heading into the WMU game:

INJURY REPORT: Senior cornerback Darrell Hunter still is not practicing with the Falcons and will not play at Western Michigan. With two regular season games remaining after Wednesday, he is not expected to return this season. Running back Donovan Wilson and center Tim McAuliffe, who did not see action against Ohio, are probable against the Broncos. Defensive end Terrance Bush, who saw limited action against the Bobcats because of an injury, practiced this week and is expected to play.

I wonder if Hunter will apply for a Med-RS? Really sucks that he essentially missed yet another full season with an injury (broken wrist cost him all of 2013).

He's essentially lost two full years to different injuries...one to his neck. Maybe he should quit while he's ahead and focus on his degree and the rest of his life.

Knock on wood...

I agree, compared to this time last year where BG had it's backup QB and third string RB (Givens) getting snaps, the team is in a much, much better place.

"Wide receiver Ronnie Moore, who did not play in the second half at Western Michigan after suffering an apparent shoulder injury, practiced Saturday and will play against the Rockets.

The same holds true for running back Fred Coppet, who suffered an apparent hand injury against the Broncos.

Running back Donovan Wilson, who saw limited action against the Broncos after missing the previous game against Ohio, did not practice Saturday and will not play against Toledo."

Great news that Moore will be playing, his absence after he left the WMU game was noticeable.
