Come on. To say that Toledo wanted it more is ridiculous. They forced turnovers and that was the difference. They didn't try harder or want it more. They played better.

they said on TV that two of our players were talking trash before the game and almost started a fight. They thought they could just appear on the field and win. This is a hard lesson that I hope they learn. you must come ready to play, especially against your nemesis. I hope we get them in Detroit but I hope they have learned something. They are not as good as they thought they were. They HAVE to want it and play like they want it. Since Babers has become coach, there has been no discipline. It is time they do things right. A Clawson team would never act like these guys do.

This isn't a rivalry anymore then if you all don't want a rematch. What's the point of calling this a rivalry if you cower in fear when you play them?

You answered your own question. It can't be a rivalry when you've gone more than half a decade without winning. And it's not fear; it's pragmatism. If you want a REAL chance at winning a MAC title, then you avoid playing a team that has your soul in a bottle and laughs at it each season.

The MACC should be the best team in the MAC West vs the best team from the MAC East. Not your convoluted formula of fear you've cooked up about how you don't want to play the best team in the MAC West twice in 1 season and lose both times. You have no idea what a rivalry is if you're just going to define it as losing to a team 6x in a row. BGSU has beaten TSUN like 10x or more in a row before. The overall record is 39-36, how is that not a rivalry?

Amen. So tired of the invincible feelings here. The team will take this lose to heart and I hope it hurts. Rebound and win out the MAC, then be prepared for TSUN in the MACC.

Johnson hasn't looked like the same QB the last 6 quarters. Holds the ball way too long. I don't know if that's a product of the coverage and adjustments, or if he is suddenly gun shy.

that is true. The O line cannot hold em off forever. It appears to be a coverage thing but on TV, you cannot tell.

I still don't think any team in the mac can stop us but ourselves. I give no credit to ut at all for 3 of those turnovers.

Guys getting the ball knocked out from behind or ints bouncing off a wrs chest,? That's ut taking advantage of our stupidity and nothing more.

We played like hot garbage in offense and gifted them the game. We did far more to stop ourselves than they did to stop us. They basically sat back and wouldn't let I'd have not plays. So I guess got impatient and careless trying to make plays that were not there.

Inexcusable to show up not ready to play, but I sure as hell didn't see a team sitting us down.
