It's funny talking about Michael Jordan and birthday's....because MJ had one of his best games ever on my birthday. My birthday is March 28th, and on March 28, 1990, I had four tickets to see the Bulls and Cavs at the Richfield Coliseum. We were about 15 rows up behind the Bulls' bench. All Jordan did was score a career-high 69 points that night! It was unbelievable watching him play that game....even for MJ standards. I'll never forget, Stacey King jokingly commented in the postgame how he and MJ were a great one-two punch after combining for 70 points in the Bulls' wins. Jordan had 69, and King had 1 after sinking a free-throw. It was a great birthday present!

Such a great sound...

I sure do miss him playing in the NBA though. They had game 6 of the 97 Finals on ESPN Classic the other day. Watching that was a great feeling!

To this day, I have maybe heard that 20,273 times and gotten goosebumps every single time... Johnny "Red" Kerr and Jim Durham on that classic call. I thought Red was going to have a heart attack and die. His "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" is SO classic!!

It's one of those "Remember where you were when" moments in my life...

I don't believe I was watching. In fact, even though I'm a huge Bulls/MJ fan, the first game I can remember watching was the Paxson draining the 3 at the buzzer on the Suns for the 3rd championship. From there on I was hooked to not just the Bulls, but the game of basketball. I had never got that excited watching a sports game in my life (keep in mind I was only 10 at this time)!!!

That shot. It is a scar from my childhood. Along with the drive and the fumble. I guess it just keeps me in line with my lineage of being a third generation Cleveland fan. My father still hopes for Vic Wertz's blast, a homer in any other park but the Polo Grounds, will go over Willie Mays' head. In the same manner I still hope for that Jordan over Ehlo shot to rim out.

I'm with Dayon's. Why did MJ take it upon himself to make the Cavs his personal whipping boys? The only good teams they had, only to be shot down by MJ time & time again :(

Hammb and DD, have faith. The Chosen One will lead us to the promised land!

This is where I would insert a cool picture of Lebron if I knew how to do that. :? [/img]
