The sad part is there are logistics problems for the Stroh enter parking! They decided to put double yellow lines on Alumni drive to "keep both directions" open. From the Welcome center to Mercer, there is NOBODY to exit as they could simply go out on East Wooster street, yet the geniuses want to keep only one lane in.
With any luck, they will have figured out to let TWO rows of cars in before the next big game. I don't know why any of you are AZZ'ing the attendance. 3400 real or imagined is not so bad for the 2nd game.
Cronin was a treat, NOT. I swear he would bitch if his team was up 100-0. Clearly not a very happy man. The gang behind us were suggesting what they would do if they had to play for him and it was bodily harm.

The parking logistics for this season are quite simply the most insanely idiotic thing I've ever seen at any sporting venue ever.
I was waved in by the officer off Mercer (I was coming from the North) but what was supposed to be the one lane was bumper to bumper, so I went where the officer waved me which was the north side of alumni and then I got yelled at by the parking guys up front that it was only supposed to be one lane. We then had to stop at the first parking guy who was the one who told us to merge into one lane. Then another parking guy to pay (or in our case, observe our pass), then another parking guy to determine which level of payment/pass we had provided so he could direct us to the parking lot.
Then I get into the parking lot and there was a BG bus that let off 50 or so students and they were walking right down the main driveway of the parking lot, so I proceeded to the south end of the lot, only to find barricades up preventing anybody from going that way??? It's just soo freaking stupid.
There are 3 or 4 different "levels" of where you're allowed to park, and they have only a handful of people out there to move people through the queues. It was a bit of a cluster at the exhibition, but it was a JOKE for a game with a crowd like we had at Cincy. I fully expect that will be our biggest crowd of the year (outside of perhaps UT), but still it is inexcusable.
Alumni MUST be two lanes entering. The parking pass thing needs to be consolidated. Either you can park in the Stroh lot or you cannot. Stop with having a bunch of levels (which, BTW, are poorly marked/communicated). There needs to be more people out there to handle the 2 lane incoming traffic, and there should only be 1 spot where you need to stop and pay/show your pass.
Much like football was on Tuesday...whoever is in charge of these sorts of things has no clue how to handle an event of any size.
