Durkin won't be an option.
We need to strike quick on Kendal Briles if we want him.
I haven't had a chance to see who would be available for the job. I don't see Briles being a good fit without any head coaching experience and a lack of recruiting this way.

Chances are Kingston looks again to the FCS level to find someone successful who has built themselves a good resume.
This offense has been a success. I am not sure there is another guy with HC experience who runs it. but that would seem something ideal to target to keep things rolling.

I'll say it again...Everett Withers. NFL experience, worked at OSU, HC experience at NC and James Madison. Wealth of experience as a defensive coach and his team's ran a wide open offense. If he wants the gig...I hope we at least interview him

He's an interesting guy, but, not sure it's a fit. Played at Texas and Houston, only coaching experience is at Baylor. No midwest recruiting ties or midwest ties period.

Looking up his info, definitely an intriguing person. 9-2 this year and won the CAA, 26-12 as a head coach overall.

Definitely looks interesting. I wonder if we could hire a defensive minded coach and keep this offense. Does Matt Johnson want to go directly into coaching?

Herman re-ups in Houston, no doubt has eyes on the Texas job.

Another FCS name to keep in mind is Illinois State's Brock Spack. He was Tiller's DC at Purdue. Looks like he favors more of a run first offense, but that might be influenced this year by the fact that his QB wasn't much of a passer and their primary RB was MVC player of the year.

On days he doesn't feel like coaching he could get Nick Offerman to fill in...

Because of the Tiller connection, I vote no.

If I'm Missouri... I take a loooong look at Dino Babers...and not because of the "'optics".

So now that UCF hired their HC..what are the chances Babers stays? I know it isn't likely but what other schools were looking at Babers?
