Ga Southern is a VERY good team...they will run the ball down your throat. All I need to know is they almost beat Georgia, thrashed WMU 43-17 and finished 8-3. They win and will be a difficult team to beat...

They should make that a raffle to benefit the Falcon Club. $50 a ticket and you get to be a coach. How hard can it be to say "Throw it to Lewis, Deiter, Moore or Burbrink..then hand it to Greene or Coppet"

When I first saw the announcement:

The MAC Champion should have a higher level bowl game and opponent. The MAC needs to get it together in the future. Toledo and NIU got way sexier matchups than BG.

Digging deeper, I agree with many posters here, it's going to be an interesting matchup with two very different styles of play. GSU seems to either win big or lose by a ton, so it'll be interesting to see how the Falcons' D holds the GSU run game back and also what GSU does against BG's #FalconFast offense.

Yeah definitely a team to keep an eye on.....in case y'all forgot Sabans' quote referring to their match-up with GASO last year

Still one of the best I've ever heard but I've followed GASO for a few years now. Considering our inability to consistently stop the run.... I think we need to get out early on them.

Saban was refering to the Tides game against Georgia Southern in 2011. Georgia Southern has always been a very good running team that can give other teams fits.
